In this role you will work on various transportation projects with state and local transportation agencies. You will perform engineering analysis and supporting calculations / documentation relating to traffic safety and operations. You will also coordinate the drafting of project deliverables for various clients. Location This position offers flexibility within the front range of Colorado. Benesch is expanding our Colorado division, and we welcome candidates from diverse areas including but not limited to Greeley, Fort Collins, Johnstown, in addition to the Denver Metro area. The Impact You Will Have Collect and assimilate data and perform analysis of traffic and safety-related operations projects. Develop traffic and safety engineering proposed solutions under direction of others. Develop improvement concept plans. Organize analysis to be included in reports to clientele, following agency standards. Perform field or site visits as needed. Willingness to work at client sites, under the supervision of clientele. Develop cursory knowledge of applicable standards and use of applicable CADD and Microsoft software. What We Are Looking For Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required. E.I.T (or desire to obtain P.E. in the future) preferred. Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Synchro, GIS, and Microsoft Office products is preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects. Willingness to be adaptable to office and field tasks. The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary, overtime, and bonuses.
