About the Role We are looking for a Transportation Civil Engineer I-II to join our team in support of transportation design. This position will be based out of Seattle, Puyallup, or Silverdale, Washington. This position can work a hybrid schedule coming into the office at least 2-3 days per week for team and client collaboration, mentorship, and integration.

You Will:

Assist in the design of transportation infrastructure for cities and counties throughout the Puget Sound Region, including: Roadways, intersections, and corridors Bicycle and pedestrian facilities Highway and freeway improvements Fish passage culverts Traffic control and signing/striping plans Assist in the development of roadway plans, profiles, and cross sections using industry-standard design software. Assist in the development of engineering documents such as plans, estimates, and technical reports. Coordinate with project managers, senior engineers, and other disciplines. Contribute to roadway design elements such as horizontal and vertical alignments, storm drainage systems, traffic control plans, and ADA-compliant pedestrian facilities.

You Have:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field 1+ years of experience in transportation engineering or related field. EIT or ability to obtain within 1 year. Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and interest in transportation design. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills. Experience with Civil 3D or MicroStation.

Compensation Information:

Base salary for this position is in the range of $78,000-$88,000. Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
