About the Role We are looking for a Transportation Engineer IV to join us in support of our DOT/Tribal Design team. This role will focus on general roadway design and stormwater infrastructure projects for a variety of public-sector and tribal clients within Western Washington. This role will be a mix of project delivery, client engagement, project management, mentorship and development of staff. This position can join our Puyallup, Seattle, or Silverdale office and work an office/hybrid schedule, coming into the office for team and client collaboration and integration.

You Will:

Lead and/or support the design and delivery of transportation projects, with a focus on roadway, grading, stormwater and drainage. Lead and/or support the preparation of complete PS&E packages. Collaborate with internal and external clients through the project lifecycle to incorporate feedback and resolve design challenges. Perform QA/QC for engineering deliverables.

You Have:

BSCE in Civil Engineering or a related field and 7+ years of experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Previous experience as a Project Manager for transportation projects Experience working on projects for one of the following (WSDOT, Tribes, Local Agencies such as Cities and Counties) Experience supervising engineering staff Proficiency in Civil 3D, MicroStation/OpenRoads, or stormwater modeling software. Familiarity with local and state design manuals.

Compensation Information:

Base salary for this position is in the range of $110,000-$120,000. Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
