Job Description

This is your chance to join our team - help us to design the infrastructure and buildings that improve the world! We are currently seeking an Entry Level Engineer to join our Highway/Roadway team in our Bristol, TN office.
Responsibilities:
The Roadway Engineer will participate in the planning and design on transportation related projects. The primary duties will be to support senior engineers in a variety of tasks in the field of roadway design. Responsibilities will include performing roadway design, field investigations, preparation of construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and the development of technical reports.
Requirements:
Applicants must possess the following: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program 0-4 years of relevant experience Prior Internship or relevant work experience preferred Ability to effectively communicate orally/written at all levels of the organization Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to handle multiple assignments Experience with design software tools such as MicroStation preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred
