(KCA) has a full-time opening for a Roadway Engineer in Plano, TX. You will be working with like-minded, talented, energetic people that like what we do and have fun doing it. We work on a variety of transportation projects for great clients around the State of Texas including the TxDOT, tolling authorities, counties, and cities and have won local, state, and national awards for our creativity and problem solving.
Roadway Engineer Responsibilities:
Strong foundation in highway design principles and concepts Understanding of roadway geometrics and roadside safety design Experience with TxDOT design standards and plans preparation procedures MicroStation/Geopak, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), 3D Modeling production skills Good verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of TxDOT Roadway Design Manual (RDM), Texas MUTCD, Standard Plans, Specifications & AASHTO Greenbook criteria.Qualifications:
4 - 7 years of experience EI required (PE License preferred) Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering About KCA Established in 1976, KCA is a privately-owned multidisciplinary engineering firm that has served the transportation industry for more than 49 years.
