Transportation Roadway Design Engineer

Mead & Hunt is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Transportation team as a Roadway Designer. This role will sit in our Charleston, WV office.

Responsibilities include:

Performing roadway design tasks from preliminary to final design Developing and reviewing plan sets, quantity estimates and associated documents A valid license and some travel will be required The successful candidate will have all of the following: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering from an accredited college or university AND at least two years of relevant work experience The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: MicroStation and ORD software WVDOH and municipal roadway design projects WVDOH experience, including Design Directives and Standard Specifications MS Office including Project Have successfully passed FE exam and have the ability to obtain a WV PE as soon as practical At Mead & Hunt we shape the future by putting people first.
