Job Summary I fully accept the quality challenges and responsibilities of the Alabama plant, with a strong commitment to operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and the continuous improvement of our processes, systems, and performance standards.

Duties and Responsibilities Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive action for process and material related concerns Leads cross functional teams in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive action for material and process related concerns Resolve quality issues of capability, tolerance, and materials related issues Apply appropriate use of statistical techniques Sets and monitors SPC data to ensure delivery of consistent quality from suppliers or to customers Trains Quality Associates to use inspection equipment, part/assembly checking fixtures, Data Myte Follows-up customer quality issues, analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints Participates in the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis(FMEA) Lead/Participates in the Advanced Product Quality Planning activities for new product launches Develops and submit PPAP documents for new product launches and part engineering changes Maintains Quality Control Plans and Inspection Process Sheets throughout the life of the part Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and submitting data; making recommendations Works with cross functional team to ensure Quality KPI targets are achieved Knowledge, Skills and abilities Strong knowledge of GD&T and SPC Knowledge of quality tools/techniques (APQP, PPAP, ISO/IATF, Problem Solving) Ability to work in a team-based lean manufacturing environment. Moderate to advance computer and Microsoft Office skills. Data Analysis
