What Drives Success Under general direction, the Quality Engineer III drives continuous improvement by developing and implementing methods and procedures to enhance and maintain product quality standards. This role applies advanced engineering principles, data analysis, and problem-solving techniques to support production, resolve quality issues, and ensure compliance with established standards. Analyze quality data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement Develop and implement methods and procedures to improve product quality and consistency Lead and support root cause analysis and corrective action for quality issues Troubleshoot and resolve production-related quality problems Design and implement testing, sampling, and inspection methods Conduct internal quality audits to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures Monitor, document, and report inconsistencies in quality processes and outcomes Prepare detailed reports on defective or rejected products and recommend corrective actions Partner with production and quality inspection teams to improve processes and outcomes Train and guide inspectors on quality procedures, control plans, and documentation Support cross-functional projects related to production and quality improvements Apply statistical tools such as SPC and capability studies to drive decision-making Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers as needed What We Are Looking For What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 5 years of related quality engineering experience Strong knowledge of quality systems, methodologies, and continuous improvement tools Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and capability analysis Working knowledge of Six Sigma principles and problem-solving methodologies Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable improvements Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a manufacturing facility for extended periods Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Ability to work in an industrial environment, including exposure to noise, heat, and machinery Ability to use a computer and standard office equipment for extended periods
What We Offer Compensation :
This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $91,000 - $119,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
