This role supports audit readiness, process control, MRB/NCR activity, supplier and incoming quality, defect reduction, and customer quality needs in a high-mix, high-reliability aerospace/MIL manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Support and continuously improve Titan Circuits' AS9100-certified Quality Management System, including procedures, records, specifications, certifications, and audit readiness. Plan, perform, and support internal audits, external audits, first article oversight, and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions through closure. Act as Operations' Quality representative on the floor by monitoring process control, reviewing inspection standards, and helping ensure compliance with customer, AS9100, IPC-A-610, and
J-STD-001
requirements. Lead or support MRB, NCR, CAPA, and RCCA activities by analyzing nonconformances, audit findings, RMAs, and process escapes and driving effective corrective action using 8D, 5 Why, DMAIC, or similar methods. Collect, analyze, and present quality data and trends, including defects, first-pass yield, returns, supplier issues, and recurring process problems; identify improvement priorities. Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve incoming, in-process, and final quality, supplier performance, inspection effectiveness, and product readiness. Support customer and supplier quality communication, audits, technical discussions, and nonconformance response as needed. Maintain working knowledge of drawings, schematics, specifications, calibration requirements, and inspection/test methods; support use of microscopes, calipers, multimeters, and related measurement tools where applicable. Provide hands-on quality support when needed, including inspection, failure analysis, containment, and verification of corrective action effectiveness. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred; equivalent quality-engineering or manufacturing-quality experience considered. 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality systems, or process control in PCB assembly preferred; aerospace, or other high-reliability manufacturing environment considered. Working knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP requirements, AS9102 First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) audits, MRB/NCR/CAPA/RCCA, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, drawings/schematics, Microsoft Office, ERP systems (CETEC preferred), and structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, FMEA, DMAIC, SPC, or 5 Why. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and move throughout the manufacturing floor as needed. Must occasionally lift and/or move items up to 35 pounds and support occasional off-shift or weekend production needs.Similar remote jobs
