This position involves working closely with manufacturing and inspection processes to uphold the highest standards of product conformity and quality assurance. Responsibilities Review and establish manufacturing and inspection plans to ensure product precision and conformity to requirements. Utilize mechanical instruments, CMMs, functional gauges, test fixtures, and electronic diagnostic tools for product verification. Support customers and suppliers with technical information related to product or quality system conformance. Assist in developing process controls, including Gage R&R, SPC, FMEA, and Fishbone Diagrams. Prepare and implement standard documentation for reporting variable test data, SPC, and detailed inspection plans. Participate in product/process disposition and root cause evaluations. Generate corrective/preventative actions based on root cause evaluations and support compliance with the Quality Management System. Engage in teams to utilize quality concepts, practices, and procedures for continuous improvement. Required Qualifications Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, and special processes (e.g., heat treatment, plating, welding). Interpret GDT per ANSI Y14.5 and maintain PCTs and supporting documentation. Understand ISO 9001/2000 and AS 9100 Quality Management Systems. Analyze SPC data for manufacturing improvements and perform Gage R&R studies. Basic communication skills and ability to develop rapport in a team environment. Adhere to all safety standards and policies. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 4-6 years of inspection/engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with semiconductor or aerospace products and assemblies.
