Quality Engineer II Location:
Oro Valley, AZ (Onsite) Direct Hire Requirements 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing Aerospace industry experience preferred; electronics/PCB experience a plus Experience in highly regulated environments required FAA Repair Station experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
AS9100 / ISO9001
knowledge required Leadership skills preferred Key Responsibilities Support Quality Manager and drive product/process quality initiatives Conduct AS9100 internal/external audits and supplier/customer audits Lead corrective actions, root cause analysis, and process improvements Perform First Article Inspection (AS9102), FRACAS analysis, and reliability calculations Monitor DPPM metrics and implement countermeasures Develop inspection/control plans and support MRB activities Utilize Lean Manufacturing, SPC, DOE, FMEA, and Six Sigma tools Oversee calibration activities and maintain quality documentation Preferred Skills Knowledge of
J-STD & IPC
standards Familiarity with FAA regulations (14 CFR Parts 21, 43, 65, 120 & 145) Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with MS Office, databases, and MRP systems
