Quality Engineer Level 2

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Quality Engineer, level 2, for a leading provider of complex composites, assemblies, and tooling in the aerospace industry. This is a direct hire role, located in Brea, CA.

Job responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain quality plans to ensure compliance with customer, contract, and

AS9100/ISO 9001

requirements across manufacturing

• Perform product testing and inspection (systematic and random), including source inspection, drawing/GD&T interpretation, and use of precision measurement tools.
• Manage nonconformances, MRB activities, and preliminary dispositions; drive timely corrective actions and respond to customer CARs.
• Create, manage, approve and obtain customer approvals for First Article Inspections (AS9102) and product certification packages within customer portals in coordination with Program Managers.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Program Management, and Customers to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement efforts
• Attend daily Tier and quality meetings, track/report quality performance metrics, and support internal audits (with audit training as needed) We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
