Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Quality Engineer Intern to support our Quality team in ensuring products and processes meet internal standards and customer requirements. This role will work closely with multifunctional teams across manufacturing, engineering, and operations, specifically supporting aerospace fastener manufacturing processes. The intern will gain handson experience with quality systems, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated aerospace environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with preparing quality inspections, audits, and documentation reviews Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities and documentation support Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities Assist in maintaining and updating the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and supplier quality records Collect, analyze, and report quality-related data Help maintain quality records, procedures, and work instructions Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization projects Assist in monitoring nonconformances and tracking corrective actions Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams Support compliance with AS9100 and ISO, regulatory, or customer quality requirements Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with tools such as 8D-Problem Solving Method, 5 Whys, or Fishbone diagrams Experience with documentation control or manufacturing environments What You'll Gain Handson quality engineering experience Exposure to realworld quality systems and industry standards Mentorship from experienced quality professionals Opportunities to contribute to impactful improvement projects Physical / Work Requirements Ability to work in an office, lab, or manufacturing setting Occasional standing or light lifting may be required All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $21.00 to $24.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 40 hours paid time off every year.
