Months Position Summary:
The main function of a quality engineer is to apply engineering theory and principles to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and The Organization's systems/procedures for new product development. This entry-level quality engineer will partner closely with a senior engineer in order to provide support and coverages on different tasks and deliverables.
Background & Context:
This entry-level position supports new product development quality activities at The Organization by working alongside a senior engineer on various tasks and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and execute on equipment and tooling installation qualification (IQ). Observe, log, and communicate defects seen on the production line. Update procedures, drawings, and related-documentation when applicable. Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
Qualification & Experience:
Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability. Team player and detail oriented. Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports. Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD). Bachelor's degree in engineering required. 0-2 years experience required. Experience with MS Office Suite and statistical analysis tool, CAD experience preferred.
