6 Month Contract Quality Engineer (Entry-Level) This entry-level Quality Engineer role is an exciting opportunity to launch your engineering career by applying core engineering theory and principles within a regulated product development environment. Working closely alongside a Senior Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience supporting compliance, documentation, and quality assurance activities across new product development initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will manage and support a variety of projects within the Quality Engineering department.
Key responsibilities include:
Partnering with a Senior Engineer to provide support and coverage across tasks and deliverables Supporting and executing equipment and tooling Installation Qualifications (IQ) Observing, logging, and communicating defects identified on the production line Updating procedures, drawings, and related documentation as applicable Interpreting engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas in collaboration with management and engineering staff to establish quality and reliability standards
Essential Job Duties and Functions:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and established systems and procedures Contribute to quality assurance efforts throughout the new product development lifecycle Accurately document findings and maintain up-to-date engineering records Communicate quality observations and concerns clearly and in a timely manner
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving ability High attention to detail with a collaborative, team-oriented approach Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports Proficiency with computer applications and engineering software, including Computer Aided Design (CAD)
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required 0-2 years of relevant experience required Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and statistical analysis tools required CAD experience preferred ...
