$105K•$125K Requirements Knowledge of steel products, metals processing, and manufacturing or distribution environments Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Management Systems Understanding of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles Ability to conduct audits, inspections, and root cause analysis Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills Experience managing calibration systems and quality metrics Ability to support cross-functional teams and customer-facing quality initiatives Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Quality Engineering, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience OR High school diploma/GED with 5 years of related experience in quality, manufacturing, or metals industry Experience in manufacturing or metals distribution preferred Ongoing training in metals applications, industry standards, and customer requirements Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries regarding non-conformance and quality issues, ensuring timely resolution Oversee quality-related process improvements and ensure product conformance to specifications Conduct product inspections, supplier assessments, and periodic audits of suppliers and subcontractors Maintain quality performance metrics, calibration systems, and inspection/test equipment traceability Support sales, operations, and production with technical, compliance, and certification requirements Manage non-conformances, customer regulatory activities, and quality system approvals Administer customer-specific programs including audits, reporting, and compliance documentation #
