Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and collaborative Reliability Engineer to support reliability modeling, testing, and analysis activities for large, complex equipment systems. This role requires strong cross-functional engagement with design, systems, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive reliability improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, edit, and validate Reliability Block Models (RBM) for complex equipment and critical subsystems. Perform reliability analysis using tools such as ReliaSoft applications including Weibull++, BlockSim, and XfRACAS. Develop and execute reliability test plans including accelerated life testing methodologies. Conduct failure analysis and support root cause investigations for system and subsystem failures. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve product reliability through design recommendations and corrective actions. Evaluate materials, components, and manufacturing techniques from a reliability perspective. Support FMEA activities including DFMEA and PFMEA. Recommend reliability growth strategies, statistical methods, and process improvements. Present reliability findings and recommendations to technical leadership and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
5 10 years of experience in Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related disciplines. Experience working with large complex electromechanical equipment or critical subsystems.
Strong understanding of:
Reliability engineering principles and best practices Reliability Block Modeling Failure physics Accelerated testing methodologies FMEA and reliability test planning Experience with reliability tools such as ReliaSoft or equivalent platforms is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. Comfortable working in collaborative and fast-paced engineering environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with semiconductor or capital equipment industries. Familiarity with electron beam (e-beam) tools. Exposure to manufacturing reliability and applied failure physics. Advanced technical education is a plus, though practical experience is highly valued.
