  • Job Description:
  • + We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer or Systems Engineer to support the development and improvement of large, complex manufacturing equipment.
+ This role focuses on system-level reliability analysis, failure physics, reliability modeling, and accelerated test design to enhance product robustness and manufacturing reliability. + This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex system reliability challenges, understand how products fail, and can use quantitative reliability tools to drive design and manufacturing improvements. + The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with reliability engineering methodologies and tools such as ReliaSoft, including Weibull++, BlockSim, and XFRACAS.
  • Responsibilities:
  • + Create, edit, and validate Reliability Block Models (RBMs) for complex equipment using ReliaSoft applications, including Weibull++, BlockSim, and XFRACAS.
+ Perform reliability analyses to predict system performance, availability, and failure behavior. + Apply failure physics principles to evaluate mechanical, electrical, and materials-related failure mechanisms. + Conduct and participate in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis (RCA), and FRACAS investigations. + Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to identify reliability risks and implement corrective actions. + Participate in design reviews and technical discussions to ensure reliability best practices are incorporated early in product development. + Support failure analysis, testing, and validation to improve manufacturing reliability and product robustness.
  • Experience:
  • + 5-10 years of experience in reliability engineering, systems engineering, quality engineering, or related disciplines. + Experience working with large, complex manufacturing equipment or multi-component systems. + Proficiency with ReliaSoft tools, including Weibull++, BlockSim, and XFRACAS.
  • Skillsets:
  • + Experience in semiconductor capital equipment, aerospace, automotive, industrial machinery, or other high-complexity equipment industries. + Familiarity with manufacturing reliability and product lifecycle support. + Experience with FRACAS and field failure data analysis.
  • Education:
  • + Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
