Reliability Engineering Manager / Sr. Manager -
InP Photonics Location:
Alhambra, CA (Onsite)
Compensation:
Competitive Base + Bonus + Equity Edison Smart are working with a leading photonics company developing InP-based optical amplifiers, laser diodes, and advanced photonic devices for AI infrastructure and high-speed optical communications. We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineering Manager / Sr. Manager to lead product reliability, qualification, and failure analysis activities across advanced InP photonic device manufacturing.
The ideal candidate has:
10+ years of reliability engineering experience within III-V semiconductor or photonics environments Direct experience with Telcordia GR-468 qualification and accelerated life testing Strong knowledge of InP-based materials, degradation physics, and wear-out mechanisms Experience with failure analysis techniques and reliability statistics Proficiency with JMP, Minitab, Python, or R Experience supporting lasers, optical amplifiers, or related photonic devices If you are a reliability engineering expert looking to drive qualification strategy and product reliability for next-generation photonic technologies, apply today to learn more.
