Job Description:
We are seeking a Reliability Systems Engineer to define, build, and execute the reliability program for a X-Bat. This role owns the development of reliability frameworks, drives subsystem-level test strategies, and ensures that design decisions are grounded in mission-driven reliability requirements.
What You Will Do:
You will work cross-functionally with design, test, and systems engineering teams to translate vehicle-level reliability targets into actionable requirements, analyses, and validation plans.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field Experience developing reliability programs from early design through flight test 7+ years of experience in reliability engineering for aerospace or complex systems Experience with FMECA, FTA, and reliability prediction methods Strong understanding of aircraft systems and subsystem interactions Experience supporting hardware development, integration, and testing
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with standards such as
MIL-STD-1629 & MIL-STD-810
Background in probabilistic risk assessment and uncertainty quantification Hands-on experience with aircraft testing (ground and/or flight test) Strong systems engineering mindset with ability to work across disciplines $141,000 - $212,000 a year #LI-SM1 #LD Full-time regular employee offer package: Pay within range listed + Bonus + Benefits + Equity Temporary employee offer package: Pay within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment) Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
