In this role, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and refining comprehensive validation strategies for advanced hardware devices and software platforms. Your work will ensure high standards of product quality, stability, performance, and reliability across complex system environments. This position requires strong hands-on expertise in hardware-software integration, system-level validation, and debugging in real-world environments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, reproduce failures, and validate fixes across multiple system components. Responsibilities Develop, execute, and continuously refine detailed test plans and test cases for hardware and software validation across multiple system configurations. Perform system-level validation including functional, integration, performance, and reliability testing to ensure overall product stability and quality. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify defects early, reproduce complex issues, and validate fixes across hardware and software components. Conduct in-depth system analysis and debugging of hardware-software interactions to identify root causes of failures. Validate audiovisual performance across different content types, resolutions, and display modes to ensure high-quality user experience. Perform end-to-end user experience validation, ensuring seamless interaction across device features and workflows. Test and troubleshoot connectivity protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other network interfaces. Validate peripherals and external device integrations including USB, display interfaces, and input devices. Analyze logs, system behavior, and performance metrics to ensure consistent reliability across diverse use cases. Work in a hands-on lab environment with direct access to hardware platforms for real-time testing and debugging. Document test results, defects, and validation processes, and provide clear feedback to engineering teams. Support continuous improvement of validation processes, tools, and methodologies. Skills Strong experience in hardware and software validation, system testing, or embedded systems testing. Proficiency in debugging hardware-software interactions and performing root cause analysis. Experience with system-level testing including integration, performance, and reliability validation. Knowledge of audiovisual testing, including video/audio quality validation and display technologies. Familiarity with connectivity testing (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) and peripheral/device validation. Hands-on experience working with hardware platforms in a lab or on-site environment. Understanding of operating systems such as Linux or Android and related debugging tools (e.g., logs, ADB). Experience with scripting or automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages is a plus. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to reproduce and isolate complex issues. Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira or similar). Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional team environment. Strong communication skills for effectively sharing findings with engineering and product teams.
