Reliability Engineer/FA Location - Santa Clara, CA |

Immediate What you will be doing: Work in the Board Level Reliability lab environment and set up functional test hardware and software for various NV products, including large server systems, and perform functional validation for GPU/Tegra products. Develop and maintain scripts for automated test programs. Set up and operate probing systems to perform electrical functional tests. Perform mechanical and electrical testing along with Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) to identify failure mechanisms. Conduct advanced failure analysis using techniques such as CSAM (C-Scan Acoustic Microscopy) and X-ray imaging to detect internal defects, delamination, voids, and structural issues. Analyze failure data, correlate test results, and generate detailed reports with clear root cause findings.
What we need to see:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Strong understanding of electronics reliability concepts and failure mechanisms. Hands-on experience with failure analysis techniques including PFA, CSAM, and X-ray inspection. 2+ years of experience in electronics industry or lab environment involving electrical/functional testing and failure analysis. Familiarity with electronic testing, reliability validation, and root cause analysis methodologies. Comfortable working with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, CentOS). Basic programming/scripting knowledge for test automation. Experience with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, curve tracers, etc.). Proficient in Microsoft Office tools for data analysis and reporting.
