This individual will work under the guidance of the company Quality Manager. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Engineering plus 3+ year's recent quality experience in a manufacturing environment. They will have in-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems (AS9100 and ISO9001) and internal auditing experience. The candidate will have practical experience with IPC-610-A and

IPC J-STD-001

standards and space product handling. Experience with performing receiving and in-process inspection is a plus. They will be a technically savvy and trustworthy individual, with excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task and support companywide activities.

Responsibilities:

Perform closed-loop corrective action and root cause analysis. Assemble and review end-item data packages for submittal to customers. Performs and documents first article inspections, both internal and AS9102 reports. Review and approve supplier first article inspection reports per AS9102B. Responsible for product and data presentation for final customer acceptance. Resolve non-conforming material issues. Technical writing skills that include quality management system processes and procedures. Identifies and drives process improvement initiatives to completion. Performs product, process, and system audits and verifies effectiveness of corrective actions that were taken. Review quality requirements of contracts, PO's, and amendments to awarded contracts, and identify any unique customer requirements for workmanship or traceability. Maintains record of inspections and list of defects
