Regular development and processing of engineering hardware must be performed on site.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience working in a data center systems architecture, design, hardware bring-up and validation technical environment. 5 years of experience in technical leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience using data analytics to inform strategies for qualification and design validation. US:
$236000 - $330000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits Learn more about benefits at Google. Responsibilities Lead system and subsystem hardware validation for data center products. Develop strategy and roadmap for test infrastructure and processes to meet future technology and portfolio requirements. Gather requirements, define high level architecture and execution strategy for product hardware validation. Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, product, and deployment teams to support deployment and field support in Google data centers. Work closely with external technology and system partners and represent Google's technical requirements with these partners; also partner extensively with software development and validation teams on qualification, verification strategy and planning.
