This role will also include leading failure analysis, root cause understanding of the failure and analyzing field exposure risk in the event of a failure. Description Review all vendor REL test plans during product life cycle. Ensure that silicon/package qualification test requirements are met across all wireless vendors. Audit domestic and international vendor sites on a periodic basis. In the event of a reliability failure, drive failure analysis at vendor. Assess field risks through statistical analysis of reliability failure rate. Position requires domestic and international travel.","responsibilities":"Act as the primary technical liaison between internal cross-functional teams and reliability teams at vendors, ensuring alignment on reliability campaigns, determining stress test conditions and approving test hardware. Experience working in a fast-paced engineering environment utilizing real time crisis management skills. Strong analytical and communication skills are required. Experience in Consumer Electronics. Individual needs to be self-motivated, detail oriented and possess the ability to clearly articulate issues. Minimum Qualifications BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience. Strong attention to detail. Ability to balance multiple projects at the same time. Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively cross-functionally. Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
