Some of the key responsibilities for the position include the following: read and interpret engineering drawings and review blueprints and specifications, use the latest drawing and QCIP to perform dimensional and visual inspections, document non-conforming material reports, create quality control inspection plans, lead and conduct internal audits, write work instructions and train quality inspectors, conduct root cause analysis and correction action, collect test samples and coordinate 3rd party test samples, input material test reports from suppliers, ensure all measuring devices and gauges are calibrated correctly, and all other duties as assigned. Qualifications for this position include the following: B.A. or B.S. in the field of Engineering or Mathematics plus 2+ years of applicable work experience, or some college and 6+ years of directly related work experience; direct knowledge of

ISO 9001

2015 System and Internal Audit; strong knowledge in mechanical engineering disciplines and metrology (GD&T); good mathematical skills; ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment that is based on continuous improvement and team collaboration; and experience in stainless steel products, ASTM and ASME tubing/piping is a plus. This is an exempt position with a starting salary range of $80K/yr - $90K/yr depending on experience. Must be able to work in the USA without sponsorship .
