Job Description

Job Title Quality Assurance Engineer II As the Quality Engineer, you will perform professional Quality Engineering assignments of considerable complexity under limited direction supervision i.e.: conduct statistical analysis in the form of capability studies, DOE's, etc. to evaluate processes. You will also perform assignments with business systems process, metrology/ and customer program support.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage the planning, executing, and reporting of assigned engineering projects to ensure on-time completion of activities and alignment with the site QMS.
Activities might include:
Collaborate with technical and support resources to create test, inspection, and qualification plans in consideration of internal, customer, regulatory, and quality requirements Ensure execution of all planned activities to schedule, either independently or in coordination with plant resources Provide regular updates to project management and leadership teams, including progress, roadblocks, and changes to planned deliverables Develop standards, procedures, sampling plans, statistical methods, gauge analyses, work instructions, control plans, FMEAs, and work instructions within the QMS to document and define processes Audit existing or new processes to ensure compliance with relevant internal, customer, regulatory, and quality requirements Collect and interpret technical data to present conclusions or solutions to internal and external stakeholders Compile data packages, such as FAIRs and PPAPs, to document and formally manage changes within the
QMS Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering field preferred, or related technical field 4+ years of related Quality Engineering experience Green Belt certification preferred Professional Engineer and/or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred Auditing - certified lead auditor preferred
Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience with structured problem solving EQMS experience Minitab/JMP experience preferred Prior Project Management experience preferred Thorough knowledge in mechanical inspection techniques In-depth knowledge and implementation of statistical techniques, with ability to identify, analyze and define possible solutions for continuous product and process improvement Advanced math skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people from different cultures and backgrounds
Target Hiring Range Annual Salary:
USD 92,000.00 - USD 110,400.00
