THE ROLE

Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Metrology Engineering Co-op to join our Process Engineering team for the Fall season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. In this role, you will create measurement programs that precisely and accurately measure a wide variety of Entegris products. Further, you will standardize metrology practices, automate routine tasks, and communicate these improvements effectively. What You'll Do Learn CMM programming starting at a basic level and develop advanced skills. Write, validate, and qualify CMM programs for injection molded products. Improve and create metrology documentation and quality standards. Provide timely, accurate dimensional feedback to manufacturing and design teams. Participate in root cause investigations for nonconforming material and customer complaints. Analyze SPC data to identify trends, perform capability analysis, or trace nonconforming products. Participate in the Entegris change management system (as needed). What We Seek Leadership and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally across departments. Experience performing data-driven root cause analysis (Excel, Minitab, etc.). Ability to prioritize, plan, and execute on multiple, disparate projects. Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year Mechanical Engineering, graduating in December 2026 or later. Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field will also be considered. Eligibility Must be a currently enrolled student. Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in July through December .
