Job Description

Honeywell's ACST team is seeking a
  • Lead Mission Assurance Engineer
  • for our
  • Plymouth, MN or Broomfield, CO
  • location.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through effective reliability and product safety engineering practices. In this position, you will lead and coordinate the reliability and product safety activities for assigned projects across multiple locations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define reliability and product safety requirements and specifications, serving as a key communicator between various stakeholders to align on goals and expectations. Your expertise in reliability and product safety methodologies and tools will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive plans and procedures that enhance product quality. Additionally, you will take an active role in mentoring and developing the other engineers within the larger organization, helping them to refine their technical skills and apply best practices in reliability and product safety engineering. + Lead and coordinate the reliability and product safety activities for assigned projects across multiple locations + Develop and execute reliability and product safety plans and procedures for complex systems + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reliability and product safety requirements and specifications + Analyze reliability results and product safety outcomes and provide recommendations for product improvements + Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and support to others within the larger engineering organization
  • YOU MUST HAVE
  • + Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering, the sciences, or technology + Minimum of 6 years of experience in reliability and/or product safety engineering + Experience providing mentorship, technical leadership, and guidance within an engineering organization + Strong knowledge of reliability and product safety methodologies and tools + Experience in leading and coordinating reliability and/or product safety activities across multiple locations + Demonstratable knowledge of engineering product safety regulations and standards + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills + Effective communication and interpersonal skills + U.
S. citizenship to obtain and maintain government security clearance

  • We value candidates who may have one or more of the following skills: + Master's degree in Engineering or related field + Certification in safety or quality management + Experience with product design lifecycle and testing methodologies to move a product from design through to production + Ability to adapt to changing priorities + Experience with low temperature liquids and gasses, filtration technologies, rough to ultra-high vacuum environments, and/or cryogenic systems + Capability to work independently on multidisciplinary projects with evolving requirements + Ability to contribute to and collaborate across the scientific and engineering disciplines as a team player, understanding and valuing the strengths of diverse backgrounds and skillsets •

  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $133,000-$166,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
