Job Summary The Quality Engineer - MRE is responsible for ensuring that products meet both internal and external quality and reliability standards throughout the product lifecycle. This position will provide day-to-day focus on the proper execution of actions necessary for the on-time delivery and conformance of parts. Job Responsibilities Interface with Customer, Operations, Engineering, Inspection, and supply chain teams to ensure product quality and compliance Update and maintain documentation including inspection records and qualification reports Responsible for obtaining internal MRB approval for preparing dispositions for product nonconformance to meet all requirements Perform MRB reviews and document nonconformance submittals to customer, respond to customer inquiries Track actions & progress, internally and with customers, for product nonconformances Serve as point of contact with Management and Program Team for program progress and monitoring Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for product issues Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, FDA, etc.) Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing Able to perform in a coordinator role to ensure that activities between Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality are clearly defined, communicated and understood Perform other assignments and tasks as directed Job Qualifications Education Requires a BS degree in engineering or related discipline. Citizen. Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality, engineering and/ or manufacturing; an Aerospace manufacturing environment is preferred. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, and internal QMS documents Must have prior inspection background, be able to inspect product with standard measuring equipment, and evaluate to visual standards Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and balance competing demands Have a fundamental understanding of quality philosophies, principles, systems, methods, tools, standards, organizational and team dynamics, customer expectations and satisfaction, supplier relations and performance, leadership, training, interpersonal relationships, improvement systems and professional ethics. Possess strong written, communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrate ability to facilitate, lead, and influence others within numerous capacities and subjects Computer literate in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint We'll offer you fantastic challenges and amazing opportunities.
