Job Description

The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for overall quality of the company's products both internal and external to include industry certifications relating to product and suggest process improvements leading to improved quality and efficiency Requirements Must be eligible to work in compliance with
U.S. ITAR
regulations, including access to export-controlled information. Understanding of export control regulations and handling of controlled technical data Able to ensure compliance with DFARS and customer-specific flow-down requirements Familiar with CMMC Thorough understanding in industry auditing practices Able to read, interpret and explain statutory and regulatory requirements to all levels of employees Conflict minerals reports

familiarity Electronics Contract Manufacturing Quality Management Systems Internal and/or External Auditing PCB, PCA, Box Build and Cable Inspection Principle duties: Maintain quality standards and compliance with ISO 9001 and 13485 Program Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment. Define and lead corrective action process Support first article inspections (FAI's) Understand MRB review and reporting Document FAIR's per customer requirements Monitor yield, scrap, and rework trends Perform root cause analysis Understand Statistical Process Control (SPC) reporting analysis Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production Maintain an effective quality management system that complies with the business needs, customer requirements and appropriate industry standards Manage monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes Oversee inspection of incoming materials, in-process material/product and final product prior to delivery ensuring all requirements are met Interface with all levels of employees on all quality related matters to include customer complaints and returned material Interface with customers and external parties such as registrars and regulatory agencies Review and analyze collected data for management review on company objectives Define, write, implement and train to policies and procedures in compliance with industry standards Determine the type of inspections to be performed such as 100%, sampling or reduced sampling
Education:
Bachelor of Science in a related field and 3 years' experience in the quality control field.
