Job Description:
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the warranty and return material authorization (RMA) process, including evaluating returned products, identifying root causes, communicating findings, and implementing both immediate and long-term corrective actions to improve product reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the development and execution of the company's Quality Management System (QMS) by improving existing procedures, identifying process gaps, defining roles and responsibilities, and assisting with quality-related training initiatives for plant personnel.
  • Act as the Quality Department representative during ERP system implementation, ensuring alignment between ERP functionality and QMS requirements while assisting with rollout planning, system integration, and process reconciliation.
  • Lead quality activities related to new product launches, including Process FMEA, tolerance studies, process capability analysis, gauge and test equipment implementation, data collection planning, and first article inspections (FAI) for production components.
  • Establish and enhance production quality systems by implementing methods to monitor process capability and product performance, including FPY tracking, SPC analysis, and process, product, and packaging audits.
  • Manage Material Review Board (MRB) activities by coordinating reviews of nonconforming materials, facilitating disposition decisions, overseeing corrective actions, maintaining reporting metrics, conducting trend analysis, and collaborating with suppliers as needed.
  • Perform internal product, process, and system audits within manufacturing operations and support supplier audits when required.
  • Oversee supplier quality and incoming inspection activities, including management of quality documentation such as PPAPs, FAIs, deviations, and supplier corrective action requests (SCARs), while monitoring supplier performance metrics.
  • Serve as the primary quality liaison for customers by interpreting product quality requirements, coordinating internal compliance efforts, and ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and process adherence to meet customer expectations.
