Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to champion excellence within our high-precision manufacturing environment. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure our production processes consistently exceed rigorous industry standards across the automotive, medical, and defense sectors. Responsibilities Lead comprehensive root cause analysis and corrective action projects using 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone methodologies to eliminate production defects. Manage the lifecycle of quality documentation, including PFMEAs, control plans, and standardized work instructions to ensure operational consistency. Drive the resolution of internal, supplier, and customer quality concerns through proactive investigation and cross-functional collaboration. Spearhead APQP and PPAP activities, including First Article Inspections, to ensure seamless product launches. Analyze non-conformance, scrap, and rework trends to identify and implement high-impact process improvements. Execute internal audits to maintain strict compliance with
IATF 16949
standards and quality management systems. Validate inspection methods, gauge R&R, and process capability studies to optimize manufacturing precision. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline. 2+ years of professional experience in a quality-focused manufacturing role. Deep working knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and SPC. Proven ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T specifications. Proficiency in utilizing ERP systems and advanced quality reporting software. Preferred Skills Direct experience within composites, plastics, or automotive manufacturing environments. Strong background in statistical analysis and data-driven problem solving. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance.
