Quality Engineer (Audit & Customer-Facing) ????
TIES:
Pendergrass, Georgia | ???? Automotive Manufacturing We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support customer-facing quality activities and lead audit efforts within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role is best suited for a hands-on professional who understands customer expectations, has led audits, and can represent the organization with confidence and credibility.
What You'll Do:
Serve as a primary customer-facing quality representative , supporting quality concerns, audits, and ongoing communication Lead and participate in internal, customer, and third-party audits Support
IATF 16949
compliance and continuous improvement initiatives Drive corrective and preventive actions using structured problem-solving methods Analyze quality data, trends, and KPIs to improve performance Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations Maintain and improve quality systems, documentation, and procedures
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of automotive Quality Engineering experience (required) Proven experience in a customer-facing quality role Demonstrated ability to lead audits and interact directly with customers and auditors Strong working knowledge of automotive quality standards and core tools Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement Confident communicator with the ability to take ownership and lead Preferred Certifications (Not Required, but Strongly Valued):
IATF 16949
certification or experience VDA certification or audit experience ASQ certification (CQE or similar)
