Job Description:

Quality Engineer This is a dual-impact role combining Warranty Engineering and Project Quality. You'll take ownership of the full warranty lifecycle-while also proactively shaping quality strategy across new and existing programs. You'll partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Project Management, Testing, Field Service, and Quality to ensure warranty insights translate into better product design, reduced risk, and improved customer outcomes. Job Responsibilities Own the end-to-end warranty process: claim validation, investigation, root cause analysis, and cost tracking Analyze warranty data and trends to identify systemic issues Drive containment actions and long-term corrective solutions Lead contract reviews and project risk assessments using warranty insights Partner cross-functionally to reduce failures and improve product performance Serve as a technical liaison with customers and field service teams Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for warranty and project risk visibility Lead initiatives focused on warranty reduction and continuous improvement Travel up to 50% as needed Strong visibility into warranty trends and emerging risks Data-driven decisions that influence product and project outcomes Elimination of repeat failures through effective root cause resolution Tight alignment between field performance, design, and execution teams Accountability and ownership across functions to improve quality Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience) 6+ years of experience in quality, warranty, or related engineering roles Hands-on experience with end-to-end warranty processes and root cause analysis Strong background working with quality and warranty data analytics Knowledge of mechanical systems, weldments, and fabrication ASQ CQE certification
