Job Description

Quality assurance engineering role responsible for composite product inspection support, blueprint ballooning, First Article Inspection, nonconformance documentation, MRB support, and root cause investigation. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or comparable experience 7 or more years of composite quality assurance engineering experience Experience with thermoset or thermoplastic composite products Experience supporting aerospace or commercial composite applications Experience with blueprint ballooning or bubbled drawings Experience with First Article Inspection Experience with AS9102 or related FAI standards Experience completing FAI Forms 1, 2, and 3 Experience managing blueprint documentation and engineering callouts Experience with nonconformance reporting Experience supporting MRB activities Experience investigating root causes for composite failures Experience mapping engineering callouts to inspection reports for traceability Preferred Skills Experience with CMM reports Experience with PC-DMIS Experience managing nonconforming composite materials Experience documenting defects and submitting MRB tickets Experience supporting new or revised composite part inspections Job Responsibilities Support quality assurance engineering activities for composite products Create ballooned or bubbled drawings by assigning identifiers to critical dimensions and tolerances Map engineering callouts directly to inspection reports Maintain traceability between blueprints, inspection requirements, and inspection reports Perform First Article Inspection for new or revised composite parts Complete required FAI documentation, including Forms 1, 2, and 3 Serve as witness for FAI production runs Manage nonconforming materials Document defects and submit MRB tickets Support nonconformance reporting and mitigation activities Investigate root causes for composite product failures Support corrective actions related to composite quality issues Review blueprint requirements and inspection data for accuracy and completeness Support quality documentation for aerospace and commercial composite applications
Pay:
