Job Description

Quality/Test Engineer - Mossville, IL (Onsite) We are seeking an experienced Quality/Test Engineer to support product quality, testing, and reliability efforts for advanced equipment systems. This is a 12-month onsite contract opportunity based in Mossville, IL, offering the chance to work on complex engineering challenges in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Role Overview In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating product design, functionality, and performance while developing and maintaining quality standards. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product integrity across systems, components, and processes. Key Responsibilities Design and implement sampling procedures and develop tools for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data Evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment, testing systems, and measurement tools Support and guide testing activities, including data collection, analysis, and reporting on product and process quality Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assess product performance and compliance Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives Develop training materials and support quality-related training sessions as needed Required Skills & Experience Strong background in electrical troubleshooting and system diagnostics Experience with tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and technical software applications Familiarity with
J1939 CAN
communication, Ethernet communication, and sensor technologies Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and reports Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to work both independently and within a team Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field preferred) 5-7 years of relevant experience in quality engineering, testing, or validation #LI-JD1 #INDOEM
