I'm currently partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a Quality Engineer to support plant operations and drive continuous quality improvements across the business. This is a highly visible role working cross-functionally with operations, leadership, and customers to resolve issues, improve processes, and strengthen overall quality systems. What you'll be doing:- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for internal and customer quality issues (8D)
- Partner with operations to identify and resolve process inefficiencies
- Support and maintain quality systems aligned to
ISO/IATF
standards- Conduct internal audits and layered process audits (LPAs)
- Oversee non-conforming materials and disposition processes
- Assist with PPAP documentation and customer submissions
- Train and support teams on quality standards, SPC, and best practices
- Maintain documentation including FMEA, control plans, and flow charts What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- 5+ years of experience in a quality-focused role
- Strong understanding of GD&T and measurement systems
- Experience with
ISO/IATF
standards and SPC methodologies- Proven ability to lead problem-solving initiatives across teams
