The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet rigorous quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of robust quality systems, supporting continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis skills, a comprehensive understanding of quality management principles, and experience working within regulated environments. Duties Perform Quality Assurance review and approval of all CAD and NC Programs prior to production release. Assist Engineering with developing and implementing mistake-proofing techniques during the Quality Planning stage. Participate in Process and Quality Planning meetings to ensure all Quality requirements are conveyed. Create PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process), Quality Assurance Test Plans, etc. as required by customers. Support Quality Assurance Inspectors with FAIR document preparation to ensure that the product complies with the requirements of the applicable purchase order, drawings and specifications. Assist Supervisors and the Quality Assurance Manager to analyze failures and implement corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints. Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the Quality Management System utilizing Six Sigma tools and strategies for process improvement. Collaboration with customer-initiated continual improvement activities (i.e. Kaizen/Lean Events, 6S…) Education and Experience ASQ - Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent required Five (5) years of Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing required. Four (4) years of Quality Engineer experience in manufacturing preferred High School Diploma or equivalent required.
