Columbus, IN | Onsite 5 days a week IT01 Description AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced OEM Vehicle Validation & Issue Troubleshooting Specialist to support development powertrain systems, vehicle validation activities, and issue resolution efforts. This role will focus on troubleshooting hardware, software, controls, and electronic systems within vehicle platforms while collaborating closely with engineers, technicians, and support teams. The ideal candidate will play a key role in diagnosing and resolving technical issues by following established troubleshooting procedures and applying sound engineering judgment when standard processes are unavailable. Responsibilities include supporting validation activities, collecting and analyzing vehicle data, documenting findings, and communicating outcomes effectively across cross-functional teams. This role requires hands-on experience working with engines, vehicle systems and technical problem-solving in a corporate or OEM environment. The successful candidate must be capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining strong communication, documentation and organizational skills. Skills Required Provide development powertrain system support and troubleshooting across hardware, software, controls, and electronic systems. Diagnose and resolve vehicle and engine-related technical issues using troubleshooting trees and engineering judgment. Collaborate with technicians and engineering teams to investigate, document, and resolve system issues. Track and maintain detailed issue documentation, including root cause findings, corrective actions, and resolution outcomes. Support vehicle validation activities by collecting and analyzing data and assisting with engine condition overrides and validation testing. Utilize Calterm and other engineering tools to download ECM software and calibration updates in coordination with support teams. Communicate technical findings, troubleshooting plans, and validation results effectively with engineers, technicians, and customers. Develop and maintain documentation processes and reporting methods to improve issue tracking and operational visibility. Prioritize workload and manage multiple assignments while maintaining high-quality technical support and communication standards. Additional Skills Required Strong experience troubleshooting vehicle systems and powertrain-related issues. Hands-on experience working with engines, controls, and electronic systems. Proven technical problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Familiarity with vehicle validation and testing activities. Experience using engineering diagnostic and calibration tools such as Calterm or similar platforms. Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Education Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
