We are hiring for one of our trusted clients seeking an experienced Operations Advanced Quality Engineer to support transmission development programs and drive quality excellence throughout the product lifecycle. This role will partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to support successful product launches, reduce quality risks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead quality planning activities throughout all phases of transmission development programs Implement and maintain structured quality planning processes for new product launches Collaborate with product engineering, manufacturing engineering, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives Develop and maintain Control Plans focused on critical transmission quality requirements Conduct and facilitate FMEA activities to proactively identify and mitigate quality risks Analyze warranty claims, customer concerns, and internal quality data to drive corrective actions and prevent recurrence Coordinate Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) activities to support manufacturing best practices Support implementation of AIAG quality standards and methodologies, including PPAP and SPC processes Prepare and deliver presentations and training related to quality best practices and continuous improvement initiatives Promote a culture of quality, teamwork, innovation, and customer focus across the organization Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required Minimum 3 years of experience in quality planning, quality engineering, or a related manufacturing environment Hands-on experience applying AIAG quality methodologies and tools Experience working within IATF 16949 and/or
ISO 9001
quality systems Strong understanding of advanced quality tools including:
FMEA SPC PPAP
Control Plans Root Cause Analysis Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams Understanding of manufacturing processes and product launch activities Preferred Qualifications Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification Shainin Red X Apprentice certification or higher Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification Experience with transmission systems, transmission components, or drivetrain products Familiarity with transmission failure modes and related quality concerns Reliance One, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
