We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations, supplier quality, and new product integration. This role is responsible for ensuring that products meet internal and external quality standards through robust process control, structured root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, a strong command of quality systems and tools (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC), and the ability to drive quality excellence across the entire product lifecycle—from supplier sourcing and design through production and field performance. Your Impact Support production through data-driven problem solving, defect reduction, and process capability analysis to ensure consistent product quality. Lead quality efforts during new product introductions, including planning, risk assessment, and validation to ensure smooth transitions to manufacturing. Manage supplier quality by conducting audits, evaluating incoming materials, and driving corrective actions for continuous improvement. Improve field quality by analyzing warranty and service data, identifying systemic issues, and implementing long-term corrective actions with cross-functional teams. Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal standards through documentation, audits, and use of quality tools like FMEA, SPC, and 8D. Your Experience and Qualifications Over 2 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong knowledge of core manufacturing processes. Hands-on expertise in Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and key quality tools including data analysis, control charts, PPAP, control plans, and process audits. Proven ability to drive process standardization, ensure compliance, and lead change across cross-functional teams. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, supported by preferred qualifications like an engineering degree and certifications such as CQE, Six Sigma, Shingo, or Lean. Experience in managing hourly/unionized teams and working within low‑volume, high‑complexity OEM or tier‑1 supplier operations.
