For more detailed information, please visit our benefits page at SCBenefits. The Credentialing Specialist operates the credentialing program within the Office of the Medical Director. This includes process surrounding written testing, skills verification, and scenario-based training and testing in the simulation center. The position is also responsible for all record keeping for the credentialing program. Credentialing Process Proctor credentialing exams Exam question writing and upkeep Schedules interviews with Medical Director for advanced providers Scenario writing and validation Administers practical and skills examinations for credentialing process Maintain records for credentialing Issue and maintain all badges for credentialing process Liaison to outside agencies for credentialing Drive to outside agencies to assist with the credentialing process Maintain all exams Management of Simulation Center Maintains equipment and mannequin programs Sim Lab maintenance and improvement Order and maintain disposables Inventory and checking out of equipment for allied agencies Routine checks of equipment and usability Ensure all mannequins are operational Maintain CARES registry for Sedgwick County Review of all cardiac arrest calls to ensure accuracy of all information placed into the CARES registryMinimum Qualifications:
Five years of EMS experience. High School Diploma or equivalent. Paramedic certification. Per Sedgwick County policy, this is a driving level position that requires a valid US driver's license without restrictions and current proof of automobile insurance.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field. Paramedic certification or higher. Flight Paramedic Certification. Critical Care Paramedic Certification. Applicants have rights under Federal Employment Laws.Nearest Major Market:
