Bowling Green, KY About the Opportunity We're partnering with a well-established and steadily growing advanced manufacturing organisation supporting major OEM and industrial customers. This is a high-impact role where quality sits at the heart of operations. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on Quality Engineer who enjoys working cross-functionally, engaging with customers, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced production setting. The Role As a Quality Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting both customer and internal quality standards, ensuring products meet strict requirements while continuously improving processes. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary quality contact for customers , ensuring expectations are met and exceeded Prepare and submit PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation Develop and maintain PFMEA and Control Plans aligned with engineering specifications Lead root cause investigations and drive corrective actions (8D, CAPA) Conduct internal audits aligned to
IATF 16949 / QMS
standards Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Analyse product returns, defects, and customer complaints Apply SPC and statistical analysis to drive process stability and capability Communicate quality alerts and collaborate across production teams Support training and development within the quality function What We're Looking ForRequired Experience in a Quality Engineering role within manufacturing Strong understanding of PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and SPC Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS) Proven ability to lead problem solving and corrective actions Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers Preferred ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Six Sigma Green Belt Experience with CMM / metrology equipment Automotive, plastics, or high-volume manufacturing experience Why Apply?
