Quality Engineer

Job Title:

Job Description As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting customers with quality issues and concerns. You will provide corrective actions to resolve ongoing quality issues and maintain effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Support customers with quality issues and concerns. Provide corrective actions to resolve ongoing quality issues. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Engage in PPAP and APQP processes. Conduct quality audits and perform root cause analysis. Develop corrective action plans to address quality concerns. Essential Skills Experience with quality engineering. Proficiency in PPAP and APQP processes. Strong skills in conducting audits and root cause analysis. Ability to develop and implement corrective action plans. Additional Skills & Qualifications An engineering degree is preferred. Prior experience with PPAP and documentation is a significant advantage. Work Environment This role is based in a manufacturing environment with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The facility is a unique operation, being the only plant in the U.S. capable of producing rolled copper bar with finished edges up to 12 inches wide. The work environment offers long-term stability and the opportunity to be involved in technically challenging manufacturing processes and industries focused on electrification and infrastructure growth, all within a close-knit Kentucky operation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Eminence, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
