Job Description:
Key Responsibilities Support manufacturing operations by developing and maintaining APQP documentation including Control Plans, PFMEAs, Process Flow Diagrams, and Inspection Plans Ensure compliance with customer requirements, ISO 9001/IATF 16949 standards, and internal quality systems Lead customer concern investigations, containment activities, and 8D problem-solving processes Drive corrective and preventive actions using Quality and Six Sigma methodologies Support quality improvement initiatives, policy deployment goals, and continuous improvement activities Utilize core quality tools including SPC, MSA, capability analysis, PPAP, and root cause analysis Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing teams to improve process performance and product quality Maintain strong customer relationships and provide support as needed, including occasional travel Promote safety, 5S, and operational excellence initiatives throughout the facility Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Technical Degree required ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred Experience within manufacturing and automotive quality environments preferred Strong knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and problem-solving methodologies Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through structured root cause analysis and corrective actions Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Minitab Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization Team-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
