Job Description

PROCESS & QUALITY ENGINEER
Manufacturing Company - Louisiana A well-established industrial manufacturer is seeking a Process & Quality Engineer to support operational excellence initiatives within a high-volume production environment. This position is responsible for improving manufacturing performance, ensuring product quality standards, and driving continuous improvement projects across multiple production processes. Key Responsibilities Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and product consistency. Monitor quality performance indicators and implement actions to reduce defects and process variation. Investigate production and quality issues using root cause analysis methodologies. Develop, implement, and follow up on corrective and preventive action plans. Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Leadership teams to identify improvement opportunities. Support process validation, product development, and production trials. Maintain quality documentation and process control standards. Train and coach production personnel on process controls, quality expectations, and best practices. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction and operational performance. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. Experience in manufacturing, process engineering, quality engineering, or production supervision. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of quality systems, process controls, and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional manufacturing environment. Experience in industrial manufacturing operations preferred. Background in construction materials, ceramics, building products, or related industries is a plus.
