Job Description

Job Summary:
The Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role will also support the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems, tooling, and production equipment Support new product introduction from concept through production launch Create and maintain engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation Analyze manufacturing processes to identify efficiency, safety, and quality improvements Develop and deploy preventive & predictive maintenance plans Create and document preventive & predictive maintenance work instructions Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facilities Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production issues to minimize downtime Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective actions Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory Support the specification, installation, commissioning, and validation of capital equipment Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement corrective actions Participate in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and reliability initiatives Support EHS and Sustainability initiatives including energy management, consumption, and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 2+ plus years of experience in related position Proficiency with CAD software Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes Experience with tooling, fixtures, and production equipment design Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics Hands-on analytical troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Experience with automation, robotics, or PLC-integrated systems Knowledge of TPM, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies (root cause analysis) 3D printing, machining, or fabrication skills Familiarity with EHS standards such as OSHA or local regulatory requirements
Project Management Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
