Job Description

At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. ​ Job Overview Primarily responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of the Quality Management System. Job Requirements Local applicants Manage / coordinate all aspects of the nonconformance program. Monitor / coordinate on-time closure of nonconformance reports. Works with operations to detect and correct nonconformances in the earliest stages of production. Triage issues to assess the need to initiate the nonconformance process. Coordinate and/or complete containment of all nonconforming product. Determine the appropriate product disposition working in collaboration with other departments such as operations and/or engineering. Own nonconformance reports by completing the root cause investigation and analysis using industry standards. Support nonconformance report owners with problem solving. Guide nonconformance report owners through the nonconformance process. Coordinate / assist in the implementation of appropriate corrections and/or corrective actions. Work with supply chain to prioritize product disposition to support on-time product delivery. Coordinates and communicates plans and activities with other personnel to ensure on-time closure of nonconformance reports. Generate weekly and monthly KPI data. Adhere to quality and safety policies and site procedures. Identify opportunities to improve quality and/or lean the process. Support GEMBA walks of the plant and processes. Support internal audit program. Support safety program. Analyze work to identify more cost-effective methods. What your background should look like Bachelor's Degree in related field desired. High school diploma or equivalent required. 2-5 years of related quality inspection experience preferred. Knowledge of inspection equipment, methods, and methods. Knowledge of
ISO 9001
2008 and
ISO 13485
Quality Management Systems. Background in precision production machining and engineering preferred. Strong leadership and sound decision making capabilities. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide variety of company personnel and positions. Strong knowledge of relevant software, quality assurance methods, tools and quality manufacturing processes.

COMPENSATION
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $91,000 - $136,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
