Job Description
Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Process Engineer to oversee, develop, and optimize the manufacturing processes of multi-layer clad metals, thermostatic bi-metal materials, parts and drawn wire. The Process Engineer's responsibilities include designing and implementing production processes, reducing inefficiency, recognizing patterns, collecting data, implementing methodologies, and improving quality output. Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of process engineering and manufacturing environments and is able to analyze system performance and readjust system parameters to ensure optimal performance. Ultimately, the role of the Process Engineer is to ensure all processes contribute to the final quality of the product and the efficiency of the production system.Responsibilities:
Design, run, test and upgrade processes Provide and maintain process documentation Perform risk assessments Maintain and update customer drawings and specifications Maintain internal material specifications Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, standards for quality, and cost control Analyze and optimize workflows, equipment placement, and factory layouts. Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output Perform process simulations and troubleshooting when needed Support process improvements and manage ERP systems Use data analysis to inform future manufacturing requirementsQualifications:
Education/Experience:
B.S. in Engineering or experience in manufacturing, engineering, or quality systems, preferably metal stamping.Skills:
Problem-solving, project management, blueprint reading, and GD&T. Knowledge of Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and CAD (preferred).Attributes:
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently, and team-oriented, with strong communication skills.Work Environment:
Primarily office-based, with occasional exposure to noisy, non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environments.Physical Demands:
Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs.), frequent communication, and vision abilities for detailed work.Job Type:
